Are Viruses Real? (The 23rd Annual Weston Price Foundation Conference)

In October of this year (2023) I attended the Weston Price Foundation conference in Kansas City, Missouri. It was my 12th conference.

The Weston Price Conference is about “traditional diets” and learning about the way people ate and prepared foods before the early 1900s, before processed foods came on the scene. But it is also a health conference, and I came away with some very interesting thoughts about viruses. Are they even real?

The topics centered on viral infections.  The speakers at the conference were top-notch, and here’s what they had to say. Hope your mind is open!

Doctor William Trebing presented a talk called “Goodbye Germ Theory” where he attempted to discount Louis Pasteur’s theory from the 1880s that says that “germs” make you sick. Instead, Trebing suggests that disease is caused by a buildup of toxicity in the host (person) and the symptoms of a disease such as cough, runny nose and congestion is just the body expelling the lysosomes (junk filled parts of the cell) that carry the toxicity.

Doctor Thomas Cowan talked about a similar approach to illness. He does not believe that virus’s even exist. Dr Cowan and his colleagues did an extensive literature search to find proof that a virus has ever been isolated. There are 100’s of research papers going back a hundred years on the isolation of this or that virus (think polio, small pox, measles). But in every case, the resulting “isolate” is a conglomeration of many biological bits and pieces (pieces of cell structure or cell parts) with no proof that any of these are a real “virus.”

If you ask Google “What are Viruses?” you get this answer – “an infective agent that typically consists of a nucleic acid molecule in a protein coat, and is too small to be seen by light microscopy”.

How do we really know what these shapes are in the pictures if the virus is too small to be seen? And even if we did know that they are viruses how do we know that they are making us ill?

“Illness” according to doctor Cowan is when the body is eliminating some foreign element or defect from the cells. The defect may have been caused by exposure to pesticides, or electromagnetic radiation or some other toxicity. When people are exposed to something toxic (all at the same time) and become ill simultaneously, we call this a “contagious” disease but he does not think that anything like a viral particle is actually passed from person to person.

Alex Zeck gave a presentation on “Reframing the Infectious Disease Paradigm” in which he also gave the attendees a similar view of disease and health. Could it be that there is no such thing as “viruses” and what we call colds, flu, respiratory infections are just our body’s response to some kind of repair mechanism?

Doctor Beverly Rubik built on this idea even further with her talk on how the body responds to exposure to EMF (electromagnetic frequencies) and 5G radiation. This topic sounds different from the discussion of “viruses,” above, but it may not be. Here is why – In Rubik’s experiments, people were exposed to cellphone radiation and their red blood cells showed changes. She looked at red blood cells under a microscope (“live blood analysis”) before and after a person used a cellphone close to the body. Red blood cells seem to clump together (called Rouleau) causing micro clots after exposure to the radiation. This may be due to the outer surface of the cells losing their electrical charge. They no longer repel each other. They stick together.

Where have we heard of micro clots before?  Covid-19 infections (as well as the vaccines) cause micro clots (which in turn exacerbate “long covid”).

Dr Rubik then compared the adverse health effects of wireless 5G to those of Covid-19 infection. They are remarkably similar. They both include clumping of red blood cells, vascular problems and oxidative stress.

According to Rubik, the roll out of wireless 5G in certain areas of the world (Wuhan, China initially, then Western Europe and the USA) seemed to parallel the locations where Covid-19 infections dominated. Since 5G was rolled out at the exact same time and in the same locations that the SARS-Cov-2 virus hit, we have to wonder if 5G radiation made health worse in those areas.

Some researchers (such as Alex Zeck, mentioned above) are even suggesting that Covid-19 was a detox process and not a virus at all. In effect, humans were hit with high powered radiation (5G) and, it triggered illness. This is not out of the realm of possibility. And it is not unprecedented.

Some suggest that the Spanish Flu in 1918 was a similar event that occurred at a time when radio frequency and electricity were powered up around the world. The Spanish Flu started in U.S. military bases, the exact same places that high powered radios were being implemented.

Many men from the front lines during the war carried large radio systems and many men from the front lines experienced physical illness that sent them back to hospitals (without any injuries from the battle). For more information on this see The Invisible Rainbow (Page 6) and my post on “What Caused the Spanish Flu?”.

Electromagnetic radiation (such as radio waves and microwaves) is documented to cause illness. The Russians have done the most work on this condition. “In the 1950s the Soviet government carried out extensive testing of workers around microwave EMF and they found definite biologic effects and did not hide this knowledge.” In the United States of America, we have ignored this research and only focused on the thermal effects of radiation, to our detriment.

In summary, some very smart physicians and researchers are starting to question the basic tenants of “infection.” This may have fascinating implications for how we view our current medical system and how we treat disease. However the vast majority of scientists (including virologists) believe that their field of study is firmly rooted in facts. But what is science, if it can’t be questioned? Even Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers understood that!

Personally, I am already changing my perception of the world around me and what it means when I become sick with a cold or the flu. Some of my fear of “contagious disease” has already lessened.

If you have read down this far in my post, please consider spending 12 more minutes watching My Body is Brilliant. It is fascinating.

I came away from this conference with lots of things to think about. Is your mind open to these new ideas? Scroll down and make a comment!

  1. Indeed, this is a controversial topic, and you covered it very well. My thoughts… Since nutritional deficiencies also contribute to the development of disease, it seems plausible that when the body is deficient and or exposed to electromagnetic radiation, viruses that might normally be benign in a healthy functioning body, could be triggered. The way the(winter) flu would run through my communal home in San Francisco seems to be (anecdotal) evidence of a contagious virus. Electromagnetic radiation was always all around us, but in the winter, the flu would go round and round. After years spent in the city, I am more inclined to believe that there are contagious viruses, but from both personal experience and considerable research, that deleterious affects from electromagnetic radiation are also very probable. I will have to check out the video!

    • Andrea, I agree. It was well known during WW1 (and even today) that the Flu does not “get” everyone. Some of us can be exposed and never get ill. Others catch it every year. And it is the same with exposure to electromagnetic radiation. Some folks are very affected by it and others can sleep next to their Smart Meter and have no issues. Clearly, there are differences between us that cause one person to get ill and another to remain healthy.
