If Viruses Aren’t Real Then why Do I Have a Cold?

I have a sore throat, cough, runny nose and maybe a low grade fever.  Yikes I have a cold! I try really hard not to catch a cold, for various reasons (more on this below) but I caught one anyway. But if viruses aren’t real (which I explored in a previous post), then what do I have?? In this post I will try to offer some thoughts on what makes us ill and challenge your beliefs on illness (again). It might have something to do with electromagnetic exposure. Radiation exposure has an effect on our sensitive immune systems in ways we do not yet understand.

If you read my recent blog post on “Are Viruses Real” you would be aware that some physicians are rethinking the concept of the existence of viruses. They are so small, and no researchers over the past 100 years have fully isolated (in the true sense of the word) a virus. Bacteria, yes, viruses no. Early researchers assumed a “virus” was present if nothing was caught on their ceramic filters after filtering prepared mucus from a sick person.

A virus is supposedly a string of RNA or DNA wrapped up in a lipid coating and is sub-microscopic, (below the capability of a microscope). If this is a virus, then how do we see it? How do we know it is there?

A “virus” as found on Google

In the words of Dr Tom Cowan, “the best we can say is –we can’t know that the virus exists.” So are viruses real or not? I have a cold.  What caused it? There have been numerous viral pandemics in the past 1000 years. What really caused them?

Full disclosure – I am not a virologist (only a chemist) so I do not fully understand the field of virology. But I want to use this topic as a jumping off point for information on what makes us sick. If we look at historic descriptions of what humans went through during past viral pandemics, you can see some similarities. Let’s explore…

During the plague in Athens in the year 430 BCE, one gentleman, Thucydides, described the medical symptoms of many of the people around him – “Violent heats in the head (assume to be fevers); redness and inflammation of the eyes; throat and tongue quickly suffused with blood; breath became unnatural and fetid; sneezing and hoarseness; violent cough’ a livid color inkling to red…“

The 1918–1919 Spanish Flu now called H1N1, caused acute swelling of and bleeding from the lungs, and some people who were infected typically suffocated within one to two days. Nurses reported that “blood was coming from everywhere.” A cyanosis set in and patients turned a dark red/blue as their bodies failed to get enough oxygen. This was called a hemorrhagic pneumonia.

In 1997 the first avian H5N1 flu in Hong Kong included vomiting, abdominal pain, chest pain, an altered mental state, seizures, severe respiratory problems, including pneumonia and breathlessness (no oxygen getting to the body).

In 2013 a bird flu from China (Influenza A H7N9) caused pneumonia and respiratory failure.

In 2020 the world experienced SARS-Cov2 (a corona virus pandemic). The symptoms of those who got the most virulent (early) strains suffered severe pneumonias, turned blue from lack of oxygen and died very quickly.

SIMILARITIES

The similarities I see in the above accounts of viral pandemics is that most of the stricken people had a severe pneumonia, blood clotting problems, and blood leaking from the lungs with respiratory failure. Sometimes they had multi organ failure. Is there anything else in the entire world (that is not a virus) that could cause these kinds of health problems?

ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION

Believe it or not, there are folks out there that have correlated influenza outbreaks to solar activity (which is electromagnetic fields or EMF). Before you start laughing, this may be something to consider.

Human and animal life on this planet is controlled by the environment and part of the environment on earth is electromagnetic. We live in a charged and magnetic world. As humans we are sensitive to changes in this environment (does your head tell when a storm is coming?)

Sun Spots/Solar activity

A large percentage of flu epidemics since the year 1700 (and probably before that) have occurred within one or two years of a peak or trough in sunspot numbers. These kind of solar events occur every 11 years.

Consider this-

Sunspots trigger solar flares (an electromagnetic or EMF event).

Solar flares send ionizing radiation down to earth.

Ionizing radiation can be harmful to life.

According to researcher Carlton Brown, “Since 1700 a statistically significant 76 percent of influenza pandemics and major regional epidemics occurred within a year of the peak or trough of the 11-year sunspot number cycle, including all 20th and 21st-century pandemics.” He says this increased to 89 percent within (the last) two years.

He continues-“…immunological susceptibility and regional-scale induced immunosuppression were identified linked to solar-/geo-magnetic cycles…”. In other words, solar activity can be linked to our suppressed immune systems

The chart below shows his data.

In this chart, Brown plots the peaks and valleys of sun spot activity (BLUE LINE) with known influenza “A” outbreaks (red dots). (I added the two red arrows and the reference to the Carrington Event and the Spanish Flu). It should be noted that the disease outbreaks before the 1800s were assumed to be influenza, but cannot be known. (The Carrington Event in 1859 was a huge electromagnetic disruption to earth’s atmosphere that was felt globally).

Brown’s point is that the electromagnetic environment may have something to do with whether humans get sick from influenza.

Brown does not say that the influenza virus does not exist; he simply makes a suggestion that the influenza “A” virus becomes more virulent when there is a change in our solar system. Solar flares are electromagnetic in nature and they have been shown to impact our solar system. We as humans are electromagnetic in nature and may be impacted by solar activity.

It is interesting to note that the speed with which the Spanish flu traveled around the world in 1918  made some researchers suspicious as to how a contagion could travel that fastShips at sea would have a large percentage of the crew come down with extreme illness while far from land. Where did a viral “contagion” come from?

In 1918, the journal Science, warned, “The epidemics now occurring appear with electric suddenness (emphasis mine), and, acting like powerful, uncontrolled currents, produce violent and eccentric effects.”

The Spanish flu actually started in military bases in the United States. These military bases used new high powered radio transmitters, adding to the EMF, or electromagnetic exposure of the young soldiers.

But the Spanish Flu affected more than just humans; farmers in 1918 reported that pigs, horses and farm animals became ill, all at the same time. Horses in the British army also became ill.

Electromagnetic radiation would be sudden and impact large areas of earth in a relatively short period of time. As such, electromagnetic radiation as the cause of viral pandemics cannot be dismissed easily.

RUSSIAN AND USA STUDIES

Health effects from radiation are not new and have been well documented. The Russians have done the most work on this and the United States has followed grudgingly. The United States Air Force reported on electromagnetic exposure back in 1988. They understood and admitted that it can make humans ill in several different ways. Here is what the report says-

“The absorption of Radio Frequency/Micro Waves radiated energy causes biological reactions to occur in the tissue of the human body.” And, “Exposure to RF/MW radiation is known to have a biological effect on animals and humans. Damage to major organs, disruption of important biological processes … represents the dangers of RF/MW radiation to living organisms.(Italics mine).

5G ROLLOUT

And now we come to 5G. 5G is the fifth generation cellular network rolled out at the end of 2019. The rollout of 5G and the SARS-Cov2 pandemic correlate perfectly. Correlation is not causation but this timing is too much of a coincidence. AT&T and T-Mobile turned on large 5G systems in December 2019 covering 200 million people right out of the gate. The first cases of SARS-Cov2 occurred in the same time frame.

This new 5G cellular network runs off millimeter waves instead of microwaves. It should be noted that the industry did not turn off older cellular systems (such as 3G and 4G) when they rolled out 5G. They simply added 5G exposure on top of everything else that is out there.

But the Food and Drug Administration says 5G is safe. Do you think so? The wireless safety board at the FDA is populated with industry experts. Can you trust that the FDA has your health as its top priority when the fox is watching the hen house? I’m not so sure.

WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN?

It means that there is a lot we don’t yet understand about how our health is impacted by not only man-made radiation but also natural solar radiation. Maybe all this radiation exposure has an effect on our sensitive immune systems in ways we have yet to discover.

Now, after that long historic perspective, I ask myself, how did I “catch a cold?” Honestly, I have no idea! But I will say that I was under some stress at the time, and I have noticed that as I get older my immune system is not as robust. Maybe my body’s immune system has been impacted by the electromagnetic environment…

The good news is, my “cold” did not lead to a sinus infection as it normally does.  I try hard to avoid colds for this reason. I used several over-the-counter therapies to lessen my cold symptoms and they worked well.  More on this in a future blog post!

  1. Only a chemist?! You’re much too humble! This post was so interesting and I actually understood it; thank you for the laymen’s terms. The topic would make a great spy novel; so much intrigue and deception!

  2. This is a fascinating topic and article. Since we are electrical beings, it stands to reason that we must be affected by radiation and electrical currents. As to germs and viruses. I suspect there is much we do not know, but tend to believe that germs do exist, and are also influenced by phenomena we do not fully comprehend.

  3. Really nice work. Virusis are real. And all environmentel changes do affect all life on our planet. 8 million people die each year, world wide, simply from exposure to polluted air. Smc
